Use ← → to move. The marker highlights text and the pencil draws on the slide; navigation locks while you annotate. Undo removes the last mark, Esc exits.

1Feed it real ideas, not topics

'Tips for homeowners' is a topic. 'Last Tuesday a client asked why our quote was higher than the other two, and here is what I told her' is an idea. Keep a simple ideas file and add one line every time a customer says something interesting.

2Make sure the voice is written down

Your CLAUDE.md should describe your brand voice, your audience, words you never use, and two or three examples of posts that performed well. Without that, you get generic AI content that sounds like everyone else.

3Run the engine

One prompt, several formats, one folder.

Prompt for Claude
Take this idea: [paste your idea]. Using the copywriter subagent and the brand voice in CLAUDE.md, create: 1 LinkedIn post (under 200 words), 1 Instagram caption with a hook in the first line, 1 short email for our newsletter list (under 150 words, one call to action), and 1 script for a 45-second video (hook in the first 3 seconds, one point, one call to action). Save them to content/[date]-[short-title]/. Do not publish anything.
4Review for truth and taste

Run the reviewer on claims and facts, then read everything yourself for taste. If something does not sound like you, tell Claude why in one sentence and add that sentence to the voice section of CLAUDE.md so it never happens again.

5Schedule with your usual tool

Paste or upload the approved pieces into your scheduling tool. If you use a connector for it, keep the publish action behind human approval, as you set up in Module 6.

Most small businesses do not have a content problem. They have a consistency problem. They post three times in a good week and then disappear for a month, because every post starts from a blank page and the owner is the only one who knows what to say.

The content engine works the other way round. You bring one real idea: a customer question, a job you finished, an opinion about your industry. The engine turns it into a week of content across channels, in your voice, ready for you to approve.

Key points

  • Real ideas from customers beat generic topics every time.
  • A written brand voice is what makes AI content sound like you.
  • One idea becomes a week of content across channels.
  • Every correction becomes one new sentence in CLAUDE.md.

Avoid

  • Asking for '30 posts about marketing' with no real ideas behind them.
  • Publishing health, legal or financial claims without a human check.
  • Letting content go out automatically before the voice is proven.
Real-world example: a dental clinic

A family dental clinic keeps an ideas file at reception. Staff add real patient questions, anonymised, such as 'Is it normal for my child's gums to bleed when brushing?'. Every Monday the practice manager picks two, runs the engine, and gets posts, a newsletter paragraph and a video script the dentist records in one take. The clinic went from posting occasionally to three times a week, with the dentist spending about 30 minutes a week on content.
